In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we will be holding a service-oriented Meetup. BarkHappy believes in building community, and giving back is an important part of what it means to be a part of a community. So let’s get together and give back by cleaning up Laurelhurst Park, specifically the dog off leash area. BarkHappy will be providing trash bags and latex gloves. Just bring yourself and friends (both human and four-legged). Also, it might be a good idea to bring water for yourself and your dog, since most water fountains are shut off for the winter. We will meet at the corner of 39th/Cesar Chavez and Ankeny, look for the blue BarkHappy t-shirts, and then we will head over to the off-leash area to begin our clean-up. Also, FYI the off-leashed area is unfenced so feel free to keep your dog on a leash if that makes you more comfortable.
