The park is off leash, but note its not fully enclosed/fenced in. The running trail runs through it. Plus there is access to the water/swimming area for the pups. Note – now known as Vic Mathias Shores, the only legal off leash area is within the fenced in dog park. Pay attention to the signs as the city is now issuing fines for dogs that are off leash outside of the fenced in area.

Besides the open parking lots and street parking, there is also the pay parking garage at the Long center across the street.
